How to convert an estimate to an invoice
Learn how to convert an estimate into an invoice using two simple methods. These easy steps also apply to converting other document types, such as credit notes, purchase orders, and delivery notes, into invoices or vice versa.
Method 1
Step 1: Select ‘Estimate’
Select the ‘Estimate’ tab from the options above.
Step 2: Select the estimate to convert
Choose the estimate from your list, swipe left, and then tap ‘More’ to proceed with converting the document.
Step 3: Select ‘Copy’
Tap ‘Copy’ to start converting your estimate into an invoice.
Step 4: Copy to invoice
Select ‘Invoice’ to convert your estimate into an invoice, or choose another document type you’d like to convert it to.
Method 2
Step 1: Open the estimate
Tap to open the estimate or any document you want to convert.
Step 2: Tap the ellipsis button
Tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of the document preview.
Step 3: Select ‘Copy to’
Tap ‘Copy to’ to convert your estimate into an invoice or another document type.
Step 4: Choose the document type
Select ‘Invoice’ to convert your estimate into an invoice, or choose another document type you want to convert it to.
Note: If your document is only in “Saved” status, only Method 1 will be available unless the document has been sent.

A: Definitely. You can modify the invoice details before sending it to your customer.
Q: Will the estimate be deleted after I convert it to an invoice?
A: No, converting an estimate to an invoice does not delete the original estimate. It remains saved in your estimate list for reference.
Q: Can only estimates be converted to invoices, and not other documents?
A: No, the above steps are also applicable to other document types, such as quotes, receipts, or duplicating invoices.
