Brian Odong had a simple idea – create cultural experiences for tourists and showcase the beauty of Africa.
With this dream, he started Braca Tours And Travel, a local ground handling safari operator in Uganda.
They offer tailored safaris in Uganda and Rwanda that include experiences like savannah game drives, mountain gorilla trekking adventures, chimpanzee trekking/habituation experiences, private tour holidays and small group tours.
Brian began his business with a desire to share East Africa’s unique and mesmerising culture, wildlife, landscape, sights and sounds.
Having always been fascinated by travelling and exploring the world and wanting to own his own travel agency, the road to self-employment had long been a dream of his.
The business officially opened in 2016, right after Brian graduated from University.
Brian’s biggest struggles were learning about the tourism industry, and how to tailor his business for various markets.
Between travelling and managing the trips of his customers, Brian needed to find a system to easily manage his finances.
