Social Media and Content Marketer

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Social Media and Content Marketer to lead the content delivery for Bookipi. Bookipi has grown 10x in the last year and we need your skills to continue to scale.  

Working in the Marketing team you will be responsible for all of the social media and content marketing needs for the company. You will produce compelling and creative content, own our content and social media channels, and work with the broader team to announce the launch of new products. You will have a shared-ownership of the success of the Marketing team.

We are a Remote First company and support full Work From Home. 

This role is a Parental Leave cover and temporary in nature as the employee on leave has a right to return to work when their parental leave ends. This role is expected to last at least 12 months.

Key Actions & Duties

  • Define and Manage a multichannel proactive and reactive content strategy to be delivered across Australia, USA and UK
  • Own the brands’ content calendar and manage it centrally, tying in seasonal and regulatory events to ensure a consistent stream of engaging content.
  • Drive ideas for new content initiatives that can be repurposed across multiple channels – be that copy, video, image and infographics.
  • Plan and Manage the Social Media strategy for the brands with a focus on community engagement – ensuring that content is optimised to drive brand awareness and grow the community

Skill & Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years’ work experience in a similar role
  • Strong content creation skills that you can demonstrate
  • Experience in managing social media channels to engage, grow and create leads (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc)
  • Have proven experience planning and delivering a multichannel content and social strategy with a core focus to drive brand equity in domestic and international markets
  • Capable of effectively working autonomously and a self-starter
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in the payroll, invoicing, accounting, or adjacent industry is a plus
  • The ability to adapt to new environments and work well with others
