Product Marketer

The Role

Payroller has grown 10x in the last year and we need your skills to continue to scale. We are looking for an experienced Product Marketer to lead research, customer communication, and campaigns for Payroller.  

Working in the Growth team you will oversee all of Payroller’s product marketing needs. This covers user activation, engagement, retention, and renewal.

As part of the Growth team you will execute on the Payroller product strategy. You will produce competitive and market insights, own messaging and communication, and work with Product Managers to launch new products. You will have a shared-ownership of the success of the Payroller product.

We are a Remote First company and support full Work From Home.

Key Actions & Duties

  • Run all customer and product campaigns
  • Own all lifecycle communications covering Activation, Engagement, Renewals, Winbacks and Advocacy 
  • Lead GTM strategy development and execution of all product launch programmes and campaigns 
  • Own product messaging and value proposition. Be an expert on the Value Proposition Canvas, leading research projects to uncover and define target audiences.
  • Conduct customer research including quantitative and qualitative research analysis, synthesis, and evaluation.
  • Own the competitor product tracker

Skill & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Marketer
  • SAAS tech and startup background with experience in B2B digital products
  • Experience with Hubspot, SendGrid, and OneSignal or a similar communications platforms
  • Experience with Amplitude or a similar user tracking app
  • Highly analytical and numerate including skills in Excel or Sheets
  • Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable in-depth experience in project management and stakeholder management
  • Examples of a successfully delivered project
  • Experience in the payroll industry or an adjacent industry (ie. HR, accounting) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
